4 Things That Are a Must-Have for a Home-Based Business!

I am a home-based entrepreneur. And I have just 4 requirements for success in a home-based, marketing business.

The Internet is flooded with affiliate programs that promise thousands of dollars in weeks, or even days...and enough income or cash, using their system, to buy a $100,000 home or a new car.

But I was looking for a legitimate way to make money, without spending up-front cash, or investing 40 or more hours a week.

What I found was...
Without certain 4 core essentials, any goal that I had set for myself for success, would be doomed.

After literally years of searching, I discovered the 4 basics that I must have...

Now, I'm making money with

  1. stable and experienced company ~ SFI ~ with a proven marketing system, as well as
  2. an automatic earning resource in e-commerce store with over 90,000 products and services,
  3. corporate leader who is reachable, and
  4. training program that is useful to anyone who take the time to access the material.

The facts speak for themselves: Check this out!

* OVER THREE DECADES OF SERVING ENTREPRENEURS SFI is in its 19th year. Our parent company, Carson Services, Inc., is in its 33rd year. We’ve been serving entrepreneurs for over three decades! No company lasts that long that isn’t doing right by its customers and associates. Indeed, SFI has thousands of affiliates far into their second decade with us--because SFI works and they’re making money.
*HIGHLY RATED & TRUSTED We are a highly-rated 17 year Bronze Member of the Better Business Bureau. Some of the biggest and best companies in the world can’t claim this prestigious accolade! But WE can, and you can verify it right HERE.
*WE DON’T WANT YOUR MONEY!  Our competitors almost all require a purchase upfront or ongoing monthly fees. Why? Because they know full well that, if they don’t, they’ll never get any money out of you. At SFI, there are NEVER any purchase requirements.

Deciding What to Sell - Easy Steps to Branding Yourself

Deciding what to sell online can be a daunting task. But when you break it down, there are only a few easy steps... starting from the first one:

*making the decision of what to sell, to the last one:
*getting your online store up and running!

According to
  • 67% of Millennials and 56% of Gen Xers prefer to shop on online rather than in-store.

  • 51% of Americans prefer to shop online

  • 96% of Americans with internet access have made an online purchase in their life, 80% in the past month alone (August 2017)

  • 2 in 5 (40%) online shoppers say they couldn’t live without online shopping.

Yes, we are experiencing a boom in Online shopping. Question is, how does the inexperienced marketer cash-in on this incredible boom?

Solution: Open your own online store!  ~~Perhaps you make jewelry, or you're good at making children's toys, or you're a gifted seamstress. But if you don't already have a product or provide a service that is of value, then consider this:

How to Decide: If you like to cook, maybe you can sell kitchen gadgets, or appliances. If you are concerned about the environment, you could sell organic products, green cleaning products, or harmless pest control products. If you like to fish, you could sell fishing rods and reels, lures, and the like. Get the idea?

The first, and easy thing is
    1. 1. Make a decision, then,
    2. 2. make a commitment. Then,
    3. 3. focus. Then,
    4. 4. keep your focus. Don't lose it. Focus is the key to success.

Someone asked my team-leader how he managed to stay the course in the face of obstacles and struggles, while trying to build an online business. He responded that he was able to maintain focus because he simply loves what he does. It's not tedious, or boring, or a burden.

Although it can be tiring, trying to build a collection of items for a particular niche, providing a product or service of value, and getting the word out, by advertising on as many websites as humanly possible, he absolutely loves the work. He loves posting ads, interacting on social media, marketing, and all the daily tasks that go with online marketing.

So, it's not really difficult to do, because it's enjoyable! And that's just perfect, because building a business is like building anything else: It takes both time and consistent effort.

If you love what you do, maintain

Your Focus.

Once you choose a product or service of value, focus your efforts on that one product or category of products in order to have an effective sales campaign.

Your unique talent, gift or interest +
Your unique product or service =

Now, you're ready to open your Online Store!

Pin-Point Your Target, and Hit the "Bulls-eye" in Sales!

If you research Online Shopping trends, you'll discover there is a Boom taking place!

Take a look at a few facts from "":

Online shopping
  • 51% of Americans prefer to shop online
  • 96% of Americans have made an online purchase in their life, 80% in the past month alone
  • Ecommerce is growing 23% year-over-year, yet 46% of American small businesses do not have a website
  • Online orders increase 8.9% in Q3 2016, but average order value (AOV) increased only 0.2% — indicating that transactional growth is outpacing total revenue
Ecommerce trends by generation
  • 67% of Millennials and 56% of Gen Xers prefer to shop on online rather than in-store.
  • 41% of Baby Boomers and 28% of Seniors will click to purchase.
  • Millennials and Gen Xers spend nearly 50% as much time shopping online each week (six hours) than their older counterparts (four hours).
  • 48% of millennials have shopped on marketplaces, 76% at large retailer sites, 46% on webstores or independent boutiques, and 29% at category-specific online stores.
  • 56% of Gen Xers have shopped on marketplaces, 76% at large retailer sites, 49% on webstores or independent boutiques, and 37% at category-specific online stores.
  • 59% of Baby Boomers have shopped on marketplaces, 74% at large retailer sites, 42% on webstores or independent boutiques, and 39% at category-specific online stores.
  • 51% of Seniors have shopped on marketplaces, 66% at large retailer sites, 30% on webstores or independent boutiques, and 44% at category-specific online stores.
  • Millennials and Gen Xers spend 6 hours per week shopping online
  • Baby Boomers spend 4 per week shopping online.
  • Seniors spend 2.5 hours per week shopping online.

But when you're selling online, how do you know
  • what to sell and
  • who is looking for your products or services?

Demographics plays a huge part in targeting your market. Find out what people want, then provide that, at a reasonable cost, and "Cha-Ching!" You've got a sale!
So, do your homework!

(In this electronic era, with digital products, your market can include the entire globe! You can deliver music, books, magazines, software, videos, all digitally, without shipping costs!)

I recommend you find an e-commerce site that offers the flexibility of "incdividual-selection" of the products & services that you choose for your designated, targeted market.

  • One such website allows you to browse thousands of products and services, and select only the ones you want …for the particular demographic you are targeting.

  • You can create a collection of one or hundreds, or even thousands of products;
  • for whatever category or collection you want to promote;
  • or for whatever group, (or even person), you want to target!

The e-commerce website that I use, offers this very tool…
  1. allowing the selection of as many, or as few products,
  2. naming my selection(s) as my 'Product Collection,' and
  3. providing a URL link for the Collection. That link is my "store," and I have 5 of them at the time.
  4. But I can add more Collections, delete the ones I no longer want, and add, or delete the products that are in the Collections that I've created!

The ability to create a Jewelry Store, and an Electronics Store, then a Home & Garden Store, move 'inventory' in and out of these online-stores, create more, etc., is the ultimate experience for the Online Seller!
