With all the things going on around us everyday, there are lots of distractions that can weaken a person's ability to remember details about a conversation. But when you smile, and you genuinely care about someone that you are talking to, they tend to remember you, and they also will remember more of what was said during the conversation, than they would if it were just "mere chatter."
